Condolences for Charles E. Severance

Charles Severance will always be remembered for his many, many kindnesses to our family, from special preparations of the front porch of the duplex we rented on E. Boyd when the children were little, to telling us to get Jeffrey a dog, to attending our daughter's wedding, he and Winifred and the entire Severance family will always be special to us. Our prayers are with you now and always, and our deepest condolences for the loss of this special man.

So sorry for your loss of your wonderful, exemplary father, who was not only devoted to his family, but also to the betterment of society as a whole. You and your mother were blessed by her choice of a husband, as were we, the members of your extended family. May you all be comforted by the peace of Christ that surpasses our understanding.

To the Severance Family: We were so sorry to see that your Dad passed away. He was such a special man and ya'll were so devoted to him as he was to you. I'm sure your Mom was glad to see him and you have a whole family praying and looking over ya'll . In these times you really need that. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we love you! Charles Severance was a major reason for the growth and development of 4-H Club work in Louisiana. His caring concern and expertise meant so much to everyone in Extension. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by many.

It was an honor to have received the Charles Severance fellowship directly from Mr. Severance in 2019. Thank you for your generosity and my condolences.
