High School/>/>and enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Oct. 13, from 4 p.m./>to 8 p.m./>Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel on Saturday from 9 a.m./>until religious service at 10:30 a.m./>, conducted by Warren Lovett and Wilson Chaney. Interment in the family plot atRoselawn/>
Memorial Park/>/>, with John Rumfellow, Troy Chaney, Trey Chaney, John McNeely IV, Brad McNeely and Nicholas Aucoin serving as pallbearers. She is survived by her husband, Rex M. Shearer; two daughters, Dana McNeely of Jefferson and Betty Shearer of Geneva, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, John H. McNeely III and wife Cindee of Baton Rouge; and seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband of first marriage, John H. McNeely Jr.; parents, Leon and Georgie Chaney; three sisters, Leona Day, Audrey Summers and Lise Lovett; and a brother, Wilson R. Chaney Sr. The family would like to acknowledge Linda Perkins of Baton Rouge Sitter Service for the excellent care she gave to their wife and mom.
