Owner and CEO of Cribbs, Inc. Roofing & Sheet Metal and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at her home on Monday August 3, 2020 at the age of 77.  Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd. on Friday August 7, 10:00 A.M. until religious services at 1:00 P.M. conducted by the Rev. Frank Bains Stagg.  Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd.  She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Donnie and Ann Chatelain and Robert Chatelain, a daughter and son-in-law, Allynn and Gary Kennedy, a sister Harvine Joiner, seven grandchildren, Jennifer Chatelain Halley, Lauren Chatelain Renfroe, Mallory Chatelain Waller, Matthew Hart Chatelain, Marlee Sarah Chatelain, Taylor Kennedy Ross and Griffin Lee Kennedy; three step-grandchildren, Samantha Lane Gautreaux, Dusty Reid Bailey and JoAnna Bailey Bounds; five great grandchildren Kennedy Halley, Greyson Halley, Bryson Renfroe, Baylee Renfroe and Henry Waller, seven step-greatgrandchildren, two nieces Kyla Watson and Carrie Cotten.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, Harvey Hart Cribbs and Alta Lammert Cribbs, and husband Donald E. Chatelain.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Matthew Chatelain and Griffin Kennedy, Josh Halley, Morgan Renfroe, Trey Waller, Jacob Ross and Dustin Bailey.  After graduating from Baton Rouge High School, she made a career in the bridal industry working at Goudchaux’s for nearly 30 years, then at Spear & Stephens until ending up at Cribbs, Inc., her family’s business.  She was a member of Ingleside Methodist Church and a charter member of the Krewe of Iduna where she also served as ball captain and was the treasurer of the Past Captains for that Krewe.  She was Miss Baton Rouge and most people remember her and referred to her as “Little Miss Sunbeam” as she won a local contest in her early years that landed her picture on the Sunbeam bread that is still there today.  She was blessed to be able to dress her daughter and her granddaughters for their weddings and loved sharing all the memoires she made with brides from the countless number of weddings she was a loving a part of.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved hosting and being part of all family events as family was truly her greatest love of all and biggest accomplishment.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Ingleside United Methodist Church, 4264 Capital Heights Ave., Baton Rouge, LA  70806.
