Juanita “Nita” Morgan Rizzutto, 70, of Central, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2018, after a battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, M. Wayne Rizzutto and their four children Chad, Stacie, Kimen, and Rebecca. She was born in Baton Rouge, La, on November 22, 1948, to Delos and Jennie Morgan. Nita was raised in Clinton, La, and graduated from Clinton High School. She went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University where her major was business. She later became a devoted wife and mother to a large, but close-knit family. As a long-time resident of Central, Nita used her many gifts and love for others by ministering to other families through the children’s ministry and teaching Sunday school at Zoar Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her firm belief in the Lord and her affectionate nature that drew so many people to love her. Throughout her adult life, she enjoyed speaking and participating with Baton Rouge Christian Women’s Club, hosting Bible studies, and organizing prayer meetings. Those closest to her will miss her willingness to encourage and pray for them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Delos and Jennie Morgan, and her brother, Delos Morgan, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Wayne, children Chad (Jennifer) Rizzutto, Stacie (Casey) Tingle, Kimen (Brian) Hess, and Rebecca Rizzutto; her eight grandchildren Braxton, Hayden, and Ella Rizzutto; Cassidie, Noah, and Max Tingle; Jacob and Emmie Claire Hess; and her sister and brother-in-law Vedera and Ronnie Daniel. Celebration of life services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Zoar Baptist Church with Dr. Kevin Hand, Dr. Larry Hubbard, Rev. Bill Saxby, and Rev. Casey Tingle. Pallbearers will be Chad Rizzutto, Braxton Rizzutto, Casey Tingle, Noah Tingle, Jeff Daniel, and Jimmy Rizzutto. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian and Jacob Hess, Hayden Rizzutto, and Max Tingle. A graveside service will be conducted at Zoar Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Zoar Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Rizzutto family would like to thank family and friends who supported and walked this journey with Nita, Clarity Hospice, Chase Home Health, Dr. Lauren Zatarain, Dr. Mindy Bowie, Dr. Kate Castle, Dr. Jingya Wang, and Dr. Richard Stanger.
