He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Carpenter; a daughter, Lisa and her husband Billy Herron of Long Beach/>/>, Miss; a son, Ware and his wife Suzanne Carpenter; a brother, Earl Carpenter; and four grandchildren, Laura, Andrew and Matthew Carpenter, and Lucy Herron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruby Carpenter; and treasured aunt, Myrtle Davis. Visitation at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from noon until service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Chris Andrews. Interment will follow atGreenoaks/>
Memorial Park/>/>. Pallbearers will be Andrew Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter, Billy Herron, Shelby Morse, Dominic Michelli and Howard Bolton.
