Istvan Lodej, Jr., 80, a native of Budapest, Hungary and resident of Baton Rouge, died on October 30, 2019. A draftsman by trade, he was member of First Presbyterian Church of Baton Rouge, and of the Hungarian History Museum in Albany, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents – Istvan Lodej, Sr. and Olga Plesche. He is survived by: his two brothers – Laszlo Lodej and wife Carol, and Attila Lodey; two nieces – Theresa Lodej Bell and husband Tony, and Stephanie Lodej Sinclair and husband Jeff; and his great-nephew Blake Lodej Turner. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at one o’clock in the afternoon at the Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Cemetery in Albany, LA.
