He who believes in Me, though he may die he shall live.” Edwin Larue Welch III of Baton Rouge, died on December 27, 2018 of a heart attack at the age of 61. He worked for Buyers Guide and AT&T as an account executive. Loved people and life, but most of all, his son Brook and daughter Natalie Cherie, sister Elizabeth, and mother Shirley A. Welch, deceased father Edwin L. Welch Jr. He was a great football fan, especially LSU and Saints. He played for Istrouma and USL. Visitation at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 8PM until 10PM and resuming on Monday from 9AM until 11AM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11AM officiated by Pastor Wayne Austin. Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews David, Aaron, and Caleb Schlamp, cousins Ray and Mike Zumo and Daniel Nichols.
