Dorothy died peacefully in the morning on December 1, 2018, at the age of 94. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was devoted to her family. She loved to attend her grandchildren’s special events. Dorothy and her husband especially enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas with friends and attending LSU football games as season ticket holders. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roland J. Ourso; parents, George and Edna LeMay, Sr.; brother, George LeMay, Jr.; sisters, Frances Markins, Gertrude Langlois, Evelyn Miller, and Joyce Grant. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Ourso, and daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Arthur Hebert; two granddaughters, Stephanie and husband Mark Charles Erie, Jr., and Stacie and husband Jeremy Muse; a step-grandson, Bryan Hebert and wife Kim; a step-granddaughter, Lauren and husband, Tod Lee; 7 great-grandchildren; Hunter and Savannah Erie; Isabella and Madelyn Muse, Avery Hebert; Blake and Jake Lee; and one great, great grandson, Connor Lee. Also, surviving Dorothy is a sister, June and husband Allen Cavalier; a brother, Carl and wife Diana LeMay; and many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers are Mark Charles Erie, Jr., Hunter Erie, Jeremy Muse, Glen Ourso, Randy Horn, and Ronnie Horn. Honorary Pallbearer is Arthur Hebert. The family would like to thank all the people at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for their compassion and excellent care. Special thanks to her devoted hairdressers, Kathy Baker and Bertha, who she looked forward to seeing every Friday morning for the last 50 years. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst East in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, from 9:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am. Following the service, Dorothy will be laid to rest with her husband at Grace Memorial in Plaquemine.
