Our loving, giving, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, March 8, 2018, at her home in Baton Rouge surrounded by her family. She was born January 3, 1926, in Washington, DC, and moved to Baton Rouge with her family in 1927. She was a 1942 graduate of Baton Rouge High School and attended LSU. She is survived by her devoted husband of 71 years, Ralph F. Dupuy; her daughters, Janice Davis, Linda Thomas and husband Phillip , Ann Farris and husband Daniel; her sons, Chip Dupuy and wife Elaine, Rusty Dupuy and wife Sherri, Birnie Dupuy and wife Linda; her grandchildren, Brian Thomas and wife Brittany, Michael Thomas, Maddie Dupuy, Lauren Dupuy Daigle and husband Trent Daigle, Kate Dupuy and fiancé Trenton Ball, Jeanne Dupuy and fiancé Eric Wilderotter, Ben Dupuy, Kevin Dupuy, Emily Davis, Elise Farris, Christopher LeBlanc, and Brian LeBlanc and wife Brittani; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Phillip Thomas, Emma Daigle, and Cohen LeBlanc; her sister, Betty Mauroner and husband Donnie; her sister-in-law Vita Lockwood, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Emma H. Laville and E. O. Laville; her father, J. D. Lockwood; her brother, J. Donald Lockwood; and her son-in-law, Virgil C. Davis, Jr. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Frank Uter, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephew, Roy Dupuy. Honorary pallbearers are O’Neal Amedee, Trent Daigle, Trenton Ball, Eric Wilderotter, Louis Mauroner, Freddie Mauroner, and Rocky Lockwood. Her family would like to thank all of her compassionate caregivers, especially Angelle Wyatt, R.N. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Thomas More Catholic School, Martha Dupuy Memorial, 11400 Sherbrook Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70815, or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 9457 Brookline Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70806, or Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, 550 Lobdell Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806. She will be greatly missed by all of her family but will continue to live within the hearts and minds of each of us in our cherished memories forever.
